The natural curve of the bay of Ipsos is a scenic setting, with fine views along the coast to
Corfu town, the green hills inland and the mountains of mainland
Greece and Albania. The resort mainly comprises a broad, straight main road just above the beach which curves into a tiny harbour. Its main appeal lies in the availability of water sports, which include pedalloes, para-gliding, water-skiing and windsurfing (the sea is clean.
Ipsos was awarded a European Blue Flag last year).
At night the action moves into the video bars, cocktail bars, pubs and clubs. If you prefer to eat, Ipsos has a huge selection of tavernas and snack bars as well as English, Chinese, Indian and Italian restaurants.
There is an hourly bus to Corfu town and water taxis to other beaches.
